I grew up in the country side just outside of Caledonia with my parents, two older sisters and one younger brother. We all still live within a 10 kilometre radius of each-other which I absolutely love!
In 2000, I married my best friend Ken. We reside in the small town of Cayuga with our two children Kendra and Kameron. Living in a small community has always been important to us. Our kids go to school here, have been on sports teams here, and now also work locally.
I have had various jobs in my lifetime, starting at a very young age picking and packing corn for the family sweet corn business (Snyder's) to working at my Uncle Pete Hogeterp's butcher shop in high school. From this, I have learned that hard work is important. After graduating from Cayuga Secondary School, I did a hairdressing apprenticeship in Caledonia, then went on to work at Cayuga Cabinets as a wood worker. After having my children, I decided to go back to school to become a Health Care Aide which landed me a job with Hamilton Health Sciences. After working for HHS for twelve years I was informed that my position was being eliminated. I decided it was time for a change. With a gentle nudge from my sister Denise, I decided to take the Real Estate courses. I received my license to trade in September of 2019.
I am excited to see what this new chapter in my life will bring! I have an abundance of personal experience with buying and selling. I know the excitement it can cause but I also understand the anxiety it can create. I am here to guide you through the process, not only on a professional level but also on a personal level.
I am looking forward to working with you!
